Babies have their own sweet smell...they don't need to wear perfume!

Personal care products for babies usually contain fragrances as well as coloring or dyes. These additives are a marketing ploy aimed at consumers and have no benefit for babies, and can even be an irritant to their sensitive skin. It can take up to 200 different chemicals to make a "fragrance" and those ingredients used to make a fragrance do not have to be listed on a product label. Why bathe your baby in a cocktail of chemicals?

Dear Sumboshine,

Thank you so much for your products. I am the mother of an 8 month old boy named Devin. He has always had sensitive skin, at first i thought it was just dry skin and i put normal baby lotions on him. His skin irritation progressed to the point where his entire body was covered in a red flaking rash that kept him up all night ad the backs of his knees cracked and wept. Of course he was still beautiful to me but people would comment on his red red cheeks. It made me so sad to see him in such a state. After many visits to the Dr's he was diagnosed with moderate to sever eczema. We immediately switched detergents and tried putting oil in the bath. His irritated skin persisted. Over the next several weeks we tried oatmeal baths, high end baby lotions natural shea butter among other remedies.

The cortico-steroids the Dr prescribed worked beautifully but it made his eyes swell and I was not keen on the idea of it being a long term solution. During our search for baby products that would help or at least not aggravate his condition, we came upon Sumboshine. At this point we were grasping for straws. After a few days of using the lotion we noticed a big improvement. And decided to try giving him a bath with the baby shampoo. (at this point he was getting a bath about every week to prevent agrevation his eczema) There was no screaming in the bathtub he was like a normal baby for the first time in months. I was so impressed.

Now he is almost 100% eczema free, he only has one small spot on the back of his knee. He does not wake us screaming and itching, he looks normal and is very happy and steroid free!!!! Thank you so much Sumboshine! I honesty don't know what I would have done if we had not stumbled across your products ! you have dramatically improved Devins quality of life. I really hope you continue to expand your product line, a sunscreen would be awesome! The girls in my class loved the samples. Thank you so much! I am also going to be including them in all of my future baby shower gift baskets!
